We will be posting Home Farmer subscriptions on 30th October as usual. However we do expect a slight delay.

We have just come back from The Smallholders and Self-Sufficiency Show at Ardingly. Although tired (it took us a horrendous 9 hours stuck in traffic on Friday to get down – Alison on the show ground greeted us with a much needed cuppa) it seemed that the sun shone, the wind didn’t blow and the show ground was full of happy, smiling folks throughout the weekend. We all had a great couple of days and met up with old and new friends. (Insert pics). We have a few more shows left including Goosnargh and Longridge – our local show here in Preston, The Royal Welsh and another Lancashire event – The Garstang Show.

As you may have read in our recent email newsletter, as part of our ongoing support for the Alzheimer’s Society we are aking our readers to organise a tea party and help fight dementia.

We would be extrememly grateful to anyone who organises an event so please ask your friends and family to get involved in the tea party picnic and make a donation to the Society? You can also make and sell Victorian food products and donate the proceeds.
